We are excited to announce our fourthĀ and last house concert for 2017! We’ve known both of these fine people for a few years now, and have been looking forward to presenting them on our stage! This is a going to be a great show to close out our 2017 concert series!

Benjamin Dakota Rogers

Benjamin Dakota Rogers is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer. Using his captivating voice, guitar and explosive fiddle he is creating music that draws you in with stories and spoken-word poetry. Benjaminā€™s sound is hard-driving powerful folk with a contemporary edge. Benjamin has brought his love of music to audiences of all ages with his musicality and engaging performance. Accolades include two Canadian Folk Music Award nominations, three Hamilton music award nominations and winner of three international songwriting competitions. Benjaminā€™s latest album Whisky & Pine ranked #6 on the Top 10 albums of 2016 on Folk Roots Radio. Benjamin is currently on tour promoting his latest album Whisky & Pine. Rose-Erin Stokes

Hailing from Northern Ontario, Rose-Erin Stokes’ music is raw, honest and tells stories of love lost and silver linings. Her debut EP was produced by Juno-nominated Ben Leggett and is full of vulnerable lyrics that give the listener a window into this songstress’ heart. Stokes was a nominee for ā€˜Best Solo Albumā€™ and the recipient of ā€˜Best Vocals on a Recordingā€™ at the 2015 Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards. Her music fuses together folk and ethereal nuances.

Rose has toured throughout Canada and played festivals throughout Ontario. Most recently she received the award for Best Songwriter at the 2017 Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards for her work with songwriter supergroup: Hidden Roots Collective.

Her upcoming albumĀ Wherever I GoĀ is set for release; fall 2017.
